Terms of Use.

The website is run by Aegis Digital, a digital studio based in Cape Town, South Africa. These terms cover the website only.

Work we do for clients is covered by the written quotation or agreement for that project. Our software products, such as Aegis Quotes, have their own terms, which you accept when you create an account in that product.

You’re welcome to browse, share and link to the website. When you use it, please don’t:

• try to break, overload or get around the security of the website or its admin area;
• send spam, automated or misleading submissions through our forms;
• copy large parts of the website, or scrape it with automated tools;
• use the website for anything unlawful.

We may block access to anyone who does.

Sending a project inquiry doesn’t create a contract or commit either of us to anything. It starts a conversation.

If we go on to work together, the scope, price, timeline and ownership of the work are set out in a written quotation or agreement, and that document applies to the project.

Please only send information you’re comfortable sharing at this stage. How we handle it is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The website’s design, text, images, video, the Aegis Digital name and logo, and the Spartan visuals belong to Aegis Digital or are used with permission. You may not reuse them without our written consent.

Projects in our portfolio are shown as examples of our work. Names, logos and trademarks of clients belong to their owners. Screens shown for our software products may use made-up demonstration data; any business names in them are not our customers.

We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but it is general information about our services, not an offer or professional advice. Descriptions of services and products may change. Anything specific to your project will be confirmed in writing before work starts.

The website links to other sites, such as social media and our software products. We’re not responsible for the content or practices of websites we don’t control, and their own terms apply when you visit them.

We aim to keep the website running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or update it at any time.

To the extent the law allows, Aegis Digital is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website, or from relying on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law that cannot be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply.
